PLEASE NOTE: the CompEdu software access can not be purchased during the summer!

For the Autumn term 2011 the possibility to signup and have access to the CompEdu software (check http://www.compedu.net/ for information and prices) will be given only during a limited periods of time. Registered students can purchase online access four times during the study year: at the beginning of each academic period. All registered students with name@kth.se account will access to CompEdu when the courses start until September 16th. During this month the access must be purchased following the steps described below. The price is 250 SEK. Those students who chose not to pay will be denied access on September 17th. Next opportunity to get Compedu access will be at the beginning of period 2. The access is granted for 1 academic year. Next opportunity to get Compedu access will be advertised on this page later on.

In order to purchase the access to WebCompEdu please follow the next steps:

1.  Students in Stockholm (registered on-campus students) can purchase online access to the CompEdu HPT software at the Department's reception (Department of Energy Technology, Brinellvägen 68, ground floor. Office hours: Monday-Friday 09:00-12:00 and 13:00-16:00).

1. fill in the sign up form at http://www.energy.kth.se/egi/signup/signup.asp
2. fill in the computer use agreement form
3. Bring the computer use agreement form and the money to the reception. It is also required that you bring an ID card with photo.
4. In the reception you will get information about your account details.

2. SEE Worldwide students outside Stockholm or students at WebCompEdu partner universities

1. fill in the sign up form at http://www.energy.kth.se/egi/signup/signup.asp.
2. fill in and sign the computer use agreement form
3. a) SEE Worldwide students - give the computer agreement form and get information about your account details from your local coordinator/facilitator and make the payment.
4. b) Students at Web-Compedu partner universities - send your scanned forms to (e-mail address will be available before August 20). You will get informed by e-mail

Students enrolled in the Sustainable Power Generation Course (MJ2405)

Students enrolled in the Sustainable Power Generation course can have the printouts of the WebCompEdu chapters used in the course in a binder by paying additionally 150 SEK (self-cost). The printouts are sold together with the access to WebCompEdu (total cost 350 SEK). The binder with printouts can be picked up at the Department reception from the course start date. Please note that printouts cannot be purchased separately.

Students enrolled in the Fluid Machinery (MJ2429) and Combustion (MJ2420) Courses

Students enrolled in the Fluid Machinery and Combustion courses will have additionally the online access to CompEduHPT a CD with the previous stand-alone version of the program (Version 3.0) as not all the course material have been included in the online version yet.

The CD will be distributed to the students enrolled in those 2 courses only at the Department’s reception desk.
