Three papers were accepted for 2013 solar thermal power thematic conference. The papers were submitted by Monika Topel, Rafael Guedez and Wujun Wang as lead authors. The authors received extensive help and collaboration from other group members: Lukas Aichmayer, James Spelling and Björn Laumert. Furthermore, help from the industrial sector was also provided by Markus Jöcker from Siemens.
The conference took place in Vegas and included a technical your to the Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating System. The day of the visit was the first time the power plant sychronized to the grid!
