In 2017, access to electricity in Bolivia was 91%. In line with the goals of the SE4ALL initiative, the government of Bolivia has set the goal to reach 100% of access to electricity by 2025. The intermediate goal is to reach 96% national access in 2020, providing 100% access to urban areas and 87% in rural areas. To accomplish this goal, a national integrated access strategy is needed to guide technological and investments needs.
