Usually we do not consult our textbooks in heat transfer when we prepare dinner, but perhaps we should!
The coming week we have professor José Miguel Corberan from the Polytechnic University of Valencia visiting EGI. Professor Corberan’s specialties are thermodynamics, heat transfer and refrigeration/heat pump technology. However, for the lecture on Friday afternoon, just after the Friday Fika, he will give an entertaining lecture that everyone can appreciate.
The topic is Heat Transfer in Cooking!
Professor Eric Granryd will hopefully also there, adding some extra examples of how to apply the fundamentals of heat transfer in the kitchen.
