Inspiring Week for MSc SELECT Students at KTH

Last week, KTH hosted the autumn seminar of the EIT InnoEnergy MSc SELECT programme, bringing together future energy leaders from across Europe. The master’s programme prepares students to design and implement energy systems with lower environmental impact, combining technical excellence with innovation and entrepreneurship.
Normally spread out across seven partner universities — including ESADE Business School in Barcelona — the 84 students in the MSc SELECT programme gathered at KTH for a week filled with workshops, lectures, and networking activities.
The seminar featured entrepreneurship sessions by ESADE, project proposal presentations from second-year students, and an inspiring alumni evening held at Nymble, THS. During the event, six former MSc SELECT students shared their experiences and career paths, offering valuable insights from both academia and industry.
“I’m happy to see that everyone seemed to enjoy the event. A real highlight was the alumni evening at Nymble – it was a great success,” says Peter Hagström , who coordinated the seminar at KTH.
The success of the event was made possible through collaboration and active participation. A special thanks goes to ESADE and MSc SELECT alumni Julia Ngo (f.d. Svyrydonova), Jacob Dalton, Catarina Almeida, Alphonse Aldrich Uy, Supriya M. , and Freja Bruncrona for their inspiring contributions.
The MSc SELECT autumn seminar once again highlighted the programme’s strength — connecting students, universities, and industry to shape a new generation of energy innovators committed to building a sustainable future.
