Our PhD Team at the STandUP for Energy Conference
Our division is excited to announce that four of our PhD students, along with our Deputy Director of Studies, Chamindie Senaratne, will be attending the STandUP for Energy conference. We’ll be presenting our latest research during the poster session, and we invite anyone curious about our projects to stop by and talk to us.
Meet Our Team & Their Research
Here’s a quick look at what each of us will be presenting:
-
Priscila will talk about Plug-in Electric Vehicles (PEV) Integration on Distribution Systems, exploring how PEVs charging influence the aggregated power ratios of electrical grids across different voltage levels.
-
Salvatore will present MoSES - Modeling of Sustainable Energy Systems, showcasing a new tool for designing and optimizing sustainable energy systems.
-
Ana will cover the Techno-economic Analysis of Solar Power Plants + Storage Systems Participating in Balancing Markets, breaking down how solar and storage systems can work in energy markets.
-
Luka will talk about Life-Cycle and Environmental Impact Assessment for Hybrid Solar-Battery Projects, focusing on sustainability and decision-making.

Come Meet Us
We'll be at the poster session, so if you're at the conference, come say hi! Whether you're interested in electric vehicles, energy modeling, solar power, or sustainability, we’re happy to talk with you. Additionally,
more people from KTH will be attending
, so it's a great chance to connect with our team and others from the university. With our Deputy Director of Studies, Chamindie Senaratne, there too, it’s a perfect opportunity to discuss potential collaborations or just get to know us better.
A big thanks to Anders for representing our division for so many years at the STandUP for Energy conference and for helping our PhDs attend this year.
