Last week 30 plus students and program directors of the Master program in Energy Transition Management (ETM), which is jointly offered by Emlyon Business school (among the top 5 of Business schools in France) and ECAM LaSalle of France, were welcomed by KTH and EGI for a study visit. They have had a campus tour with the KTH Student ambassadors followed by a visit to Live-in-lab. There after the program directors of the Sustainable Energy Engineering(SEE) program met up with the group to have an exchange of ideas about each of their master programs. Francesco Gardumi showed how the SEE program tackles the sustainability aspects in the SEE program. A few students from the SEE program also attended the event to exchange experience.

The main idea of ETM is that a wide range of bachelor degree holders (not just from an engineering background but also people with other backgrounds such as business administration etc) could take part of the program which runs during a period of one year (6 months course work and 6 months internship work). Curriculum of the program includes both technical and management studies. Program is conducted in a very close collaboration of industry partners both small and big. The aim of the program is to help companies in their low carbon transition, develop new energy solutions in companies and initiate new companies and business models.
