Best paper award at the 4th International Conference on Sustainable Development

KTH-dESA PhD candidate Rebecka Engström received Best Paper Award at the  4th International Conference on Sustainable Development , hosted by  The Earth Institute , Columbia University, and Sustainable Development Solutions Network. The event was held in New York City on September 21-22 and brought together high-level government officials, business leaders, and stakeholders from civil society and academia to discuss "Moving forward: The SDGs in Practice". Miss Engstrom’s paper, entitled Connecting the Resource Nexus to Urban Service Provision - towards an Urban CLEW model, illustrates how taking a CLEWs approach can enable fair evaluation and comparison between a wide range of sustainability interventions on a city scale, ranging from low-flow toilets to green roofs.
