CLEWs framework and the UNECE Transboundary Nexus methodology presented at WssTP meeting

Floor Brouwer (WUR-LEI), Chrysi Laspidou (UTH), and Lydia Vamvakeridou-Lyroudia (UNEXE) participated in the Nexus working group meeting during the Water Knowledge Europe 2017 , the annual event of the SIM4NEXUS partner Water supply and sanitation Technology Platform (WssTP) , on November 30. The event is a meeting place of its members and network from all around Europe with the purpose of fostering interactions, exchange innovative ideas and meet new partners. Some projects on the Nexus were presented during the working group (including work from UNU-FLORES, ICRE8, KTH, IIASA, DAFNE, UNECE, PBL, Food and the circular economy). Floor Brower and Chrysi Laspidou presented the Climate, Land (Food), Energy and Water strategies framework, implemented and developed at KTH-dESA, and also the Transboundary Resources Nexus Assessment framework, a methodology which was developed by the UNECE in collaboration with KTH.
