Event: the EMP-A 2019 meeting has started!

The Energy Modelling Platform for Africa (EMP-A) 2019 event has now kicked off! It takes place from January 14th to January 31st 2019 at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. Researchers and Government officials from across Africa gather to have in-depth trainings on Geo-spatial Electrification Modelling and MoManI-OSeMOSYS modelling tool (co-developed in collaboration with UNDESA and UNDP). The meeting will close with a High Level Strategic-dialogue on the 30-31st of January. The meeting is jointly organised by ACPC-UNECA, WBG ESMAP, UNDP, UNDESA, UKAID, UCT, KTH, the OpTIMUS.community and a number of African and international partners.
