The H2020 project SIM4NEXUS kick-off meeting took place in The Hague from the 10th until the 13th of July. KTH-dESA is collaborating in several work packages and is co-leading the work package dedicated atexploring the ‘science of the nexus’, lead by University of Thessaly.
The project will investigate interlinkages between energy, water, climate,land and food through a plethora of thematic models applied to a variety of study cases, which vary in scale from regional to global. Policy,innovation and economic development will also shape the analysis which aims at providing understanding of the implications of resource efficiency and low-carbon economy in a Nexus context.
