KTH–dESA researcher Georgios Avgerinopoulos presented his research focus on Spatially Integrated Development of Economy and Resources at the International Conference on Sustainable Development . The conference took place at the Columbia University campus in New York City on September 21-22. The work aims at defining what are the most profitable agroinvestment pathways in Sub-Saharan Africa based on spatially integrated models. For the determination of the cost, several factors are taken into account such as energy, water, fertilizers and proximity to economic hubs.
