KTH-dESA contributes to local energy planning efforts

KTH-dESA attended the 5th biannual conference on Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Efficiency in Nicosia, Cyprus on May 5-6th, following the ongoing collaboration with the government of Cyprus. KTH's contribution to local energy planning was mentioned several times during the conference, not least by the Minister of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Mr. Yiorgos Lakkotrypis. Prof. Mark Howells, Abhishek Shivakumar and Constantinos Taliotis gave presentations on past and ongoing research efforts supporting energy decision making in Cyprus and the European Union.
