In Eritrea, ~64% of the population does not have access to electricity. UNDESA in collaboration with KTH-dESA have developed a national investment outlook that will allow the country to achieve universal access to electricity by 2030. The investment requirements vary between 0.03 – 12.56 billion USDdepending on the selected electrification approach, which will allow 7.31 million people getting access to modern, reliable and affordable electricity services by 2030.
