Lighting up Malawi!

In Malawi, ~89% of the population does not have access to electricity. UNDESA  and UNDP  in collaboration with KTH-dESA have developed a national investment outlook that will allow the country to achieve universal access to electricity by 2030. The investment requirements vary between 0.77 – 37.3 billion USD depending on the selected electrification approach, which will allow 24.2 million peoplegetting access to modern, reliable and affordable electricity services by 2030.
