Published Dec 07, 2017

In collaboration with the UNDESA

In Tanzania, ~84% of the population does not have access to electricity. UNDESA  in collaboration with KTH-dESA have developed a national investment outlook that will allow the country to achieve universal access to electricity by 2030. The investment requirements vary between 3.1 – 118.2 billion USD depending on the selected electrification approach, which will allow 75.3 million people getting access to modern, reliable and affordable electricity services by 2030.
