Lighting up Zimbabwe!

In Zimbabwe, ~59% of the population does not have access to electricity. UNDESA  in collaboration withKTH-dESA have developed a national investment outlook that will allow the country to achieve universal access to electricity by 2030. The investment requirements vary between 1.3 – 35.2 billion USDdepending on the selected electrification approach, which will allow 15.5 million people getting access to modern, reliable and affordable electricity services by 2030.
