Potential for supplying SSA demand centers with dispatchable electricity from concentrating solar power (CSP)

In this  recent publication , the potential for supplying sub-Saharan African demand centers with dispatchable electricity from concentrating solar power (CSP) stations equipped with thermal storage is investigated. It analyzes the risk variations across different countries and assesses the competitiveness of CSP with coal in the coming years. It finally suggests policy that could help boost investments in CSP by reducing the cost and minimizing the associated risks.
