New publication

A paper  by Dhakouani et al. has been published on Energy (Elsevier), presenting a peculiar application of OSeMOSYS to the long-term planning of the Tunisian power system. The work compares a Business as Usual scenario and a scenario with targets of Renewable Energy supply for the development of the power supply chain, with regard to economic and environmental impacts. In order for the model to correctly represent the peculiarities and the technical constraints of the Tunisian system, it incorporates code developments related to technology-driven job creation and legal binds on international electricity trade. The problem scoping and data collection phase were carried out in collaboration with local institutions.
