A scenario discovery method using SAMBA
A new peer-reviewed paper led by KTH-dESA researcher
Nandi Moksnes
was published in
Environmental Research Communications (IOP)
. The paper explores 324 scenarios using the
SAMBA
model to identify determinants for high investment cost and low-carbon pathways. The results show that demand and capital cost as significant determinants for the system cost and low-carbon pathways. The authors show that appropriate concessionary finance together with energy efficiency measures are critical—at a continental level—to unlock economic, low-carbon investment.
