Since its development, the OnSSET  tool developed by KTH-dESA has been deployed for a high number of studies presented at international conferences and published on peer reviewed journals. Research and projects buidling on OnSSET and the methodology behind the tool ranges from national to continental scales from around the globe, with examples from South America, Africa and Asia. New research and applications are continuously developed to improve the tool and support energy planning efforts.
