On 21st of April, KTH dESA Researcher Dimitris Mentis presented at the General Assembly of the European Geosciences Union a poster regarding a continental application of the Open Source Electrification Toolkit (OnSSET). There are least-cost electrification strategies presented on a country-by-country basis for Sub-Saharan Africa based on geo-spatial techniques married with power system optimization methods.
