OSeMOSYS at the second workshop on 'Macroeconomic modelling for energy scenario

For the second year, OSeMOSYS and its application for energy planning were presented at the workshop 'Macroeconomic modelling for energy scenario in Tunisia'. The workshop was organized by GIZ  (Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit) and brought together stakeholders from the government sector, the Tunisian Company of Electricity and Gas ( STEG ), Ecole Nationale d'Ingenieurs de Tunis ( ENIT ) and other research institutions as well as international experts including researchers from KTH-dESA. The dialuge aims at informing stakeholders about various tools for energy, macroeconomic and integrated assessments in the context of national energy planning. Participants further discussed future opportunities to form a consortium of national and international institutions to build national human capacities and contribute to long-term energy planning in Tunisia.
