Successful Brussels Kickoff meeting for REEM: a EC-funded energy modelling project led by KTH

REEEM, a large energy systems modelling project funded by the European Commission and led by KTH, was launched in Brussels on 24-25 February. Meeting participants included the EC Project Officer, Policy officers from DG ENER, DG RTD and the JRC as well as partners from the REEEM consortium. This project will endeavour to model potential future pathways for the European energy system, its corresponding transformations and their respective impacts. Based on a three-year timeline, the work will end in December 2019.
