SweGRIDS Conference in Stockholm

A bilateral research collaboration with ABB

On October 26th the annual  SweGRIDS  conference was held in Stockholm, Sweden. Under SweGRIDS, the division of Energy Systems Analysis (dESA) at KTH and  ABB  have established a bilateral research collaboration aiming to further develop and improve the OpeN Source Saptial Electrification Tool ( ). KTH dESA researcher   presented the latest updates of the ONSSET model including:

  1. An improved decision algorithm for electrification ( Python Challenge on Unite Ideas ).
  2. A new methodology exploring investment cost variation of grid extension processes due to topological restrictions.
  3. An updated version of a user friendly,  online interface  for ONSSET.
