SweGRIDS Kick-off meeting

Under SweGRIDS, the division of Energy Systems Analysis (dESA) at KTH and ABB have initiated a bilateral collaboration aiming at:

  1. Developing and improving the OpeN Source Spatial Electrification Tool (ONSSET)

  2. Addressing the question of how best to model Transmission and Distribution and International Trade, using the medium to long term energy systems optimization tool OSeMOSYS and

  3. Using lessons learnt and technical developments from points a) and b) to assess potential EU Market Designs for the future.

The kick off meeting took place on February 22-23 at ABB headquarters in Zurich.
